At Morgans Funeral Directors, we believe that arranging a funeral should be personal, dignified, and handled with compassion. We are a truly independent funeral director based in Bexleyheath, serving families across Plumstead, Welling, Erith, Crayford, Bexley, Thamesmead and Belvedere.
Morgans Funeral Directors is run by Rhys and Lauren, a husband-and-wife team with many years of experience in the profession. They are supported by their four sons — Charlie, George, Will and Owain. Charlie and George now work alongside their parents, with George taking an active role as Funeral Director with his dad. Will and Owain attend local schools, keeping the family firmly rooted in the community.
We are proud to be one of the only completely family-run funeral homes in the area. Our funeral home is not simply a business, but an extension of our family and our home. We understand that nobody wishes to need a funeral director, but when the time comes, our priority is to ensure that every family feels reassured, supported and comfortable.
Every funeral we arrange is unique. Whether you choose a traditional service, a direct cremation, or wish to explore options such as green funerals or a horse-drawn funeral carriage, we take time to listen to your wishes. We guide you through every step, offering advice, information and support so that your final goodbye reflects your loved one’s life and your family’s traditions.
Based in Bexleyheath, we are proud to serve the local community with compassion and respect. When we first opened our funeral home, our chapel was blessed by Father John of St. Thomas More Church and Rev Alan Bowley, reflecting the importance of faith, tradition and dignity in the care we provide.
